For five nights in July, ropers and riders from around the world descended on Ogden and thousands of fans showed up for the 85th annual Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo. OGDEN — Wearing the number 12 on his back, CJ George was ready to do what he had trained to do: ride a sheep as part of the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo mutton bustin’ event.

Tyler Bingham grew up in Weber County and competed in high school rodeo competitions while attending Fremont High School. Now 25, Bingham lives in Howell and is a professional bull rider trying to make it to his first National Finals Rodeo. On Saturday, July 23, Bingham returned to Weber County to compete in the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo.
